Introducing Global Bandwidth Pricing & On-Demand Traffic Blocks

From tickets to instant bandwidth: How we simplified global traffic scaling with one flat rate and zero manual steps, globally.

3 min read

One of our key priorities has always been to make life easier for our users, wherever possible.

For too long, it’s been a frustrating amount of work for both you and us to handle adding additional bandwidth to existing services. You needed to open a ticket, wait for a reply, get the pricing (which differed by location), and then we had to manually process the change. Zone-based billing. Surprise fees. It was confusing, slow, and frankly, outdated.

So, we decided to change that.

Introducing One Global Rate for Bandwidth

As of today, we’re simplifying bandwidth pricing across our entire platform. No matter where your traffic comes from; North America, Europe, Asia, Oceania, or anywhere else in the world, you now pay a single flat rate for additional bandwidth usage.

No regional penalties. No surprise charges. Just one predictable price.

USD & GBP Pricing:

Bandwidth Price per TB
1–10 TB $1.99 / £1.49
11–100 TB $1.49 / £1.15
100+ TB $1.00 / £0.79

Our pricing is scalable. The more you use, the larger discount you will benefit from. Looking to commit for a larger discount? Just reach out to our team, who will do our best to achieve this for you.

ℹ️ Same Rate, Everywhere
These prices apply globally. Whether your server is in Tokyo or London, it doesn’t matter. It’s one price, everywhere.

Add Traffic Blocks Instantly via Our Billing Panel

We’re also making it easier to manage bandwidth usage. Starting today, you can add extra traffic blocks to your server directly from the SpeedyPage billing panel.

To add a block, just head to your VPS product view. Bandwidth can be added under “Additional Traffic Blocks.”

These blocks last until the end of your current billing month and are automatically removed afterward. True on-demand, no-commitment bandwidth. Your server is updated instantly with no tickets, no delays.

💡 Planning a high-traffic campaign or launch?
Grab a few extra blocks ahead of time and avoid any surprises. They’ll kick in automatically when needed.

Built by Engineers, for Performance at Scale

As nerds ourselves, this annoyed us just as much as it likely annoyed you. This bandwidth update aligns with our larger philosophy; servers shouldn’t require a PhD in billing.

Our architecture is already built for scale. Now, our pricing model finally matches that promise, with a clear, predictable structure that just makes sense.

If you haven’t already, log into your dashboard and check out the new bandwidth features. And if you’re not yet a customer, now is a great time to experience global performance without the global markup.
