A Content Delivery Network (CDN), as the name implies, is a network of servers for the purpose of delivering website content. Although web servers are primarily responsible for serving a website’s content on the World Wide Web, a CDN can improve user experience by decreasing the distance between a user and the content (resulting in lower latency and improved throughput).
CDNs are now very popular and used by websites with massive traffic such as Facebook and Amazon to provide a fast experience -- no matter the user’s geographical location.

We offer fair-use unmetered CDN bandwidth with many of our web hosting plans. We generally do not enforce this unless there is blatant abuse such as using the CDN for a website not hosted by SpeedyPage.
We do not limit the amount of pull zones per account.
To ensure fair cache management and file distribution, we do not currently allow preloading files into cache.
The core difference between the two networks are the amount of network locations offered. The Volume network is recommended for large file delivery such as video content, while the Standard network is the best option for websites.
CDN's are fantastic for speeding up the delivery of static content on your website for international users. We recommend one in almost all scenarios.
We offer unlimited optimisations, this is not restricted in any way shape or form.
