SpeedyPage offers automated daily backups for VPS servers. Backups are encrypted, stored off-site, and available across all data center locations: London, Los Angeles, Ashburn, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Singapore, Tokyo, and Sydney.

Backups cost 20% of your VPS base price per month.
The backup add-on is selected when you order your VPS. Support for adding backups to existing servers through the billing panel is coming soon.
How backups work
A backup is a full copy of your server’s disk, created automatically once per day. Backups are taken at the block level while your server continues running, so there is no downtime during the backup process. Performance impact is minimal.
Each server has 7 backup slots, one for each of the last 7 days. Once all slots are full, the oldest backup is deleted when a new one is created.
You don’t need to configure or schedule anything. Backups run automatically in the background.
What’s included in a backup
Each backup captures the complete state of your server’s disk at the time it was taken. This includes the operating system, installed software, configuration files, and user data.
Backups are stored encrypted at a separate facility from your server. If something goes wrong with your VPS, your backups remain safe and accessible.
Viewing your backups
You can check the status of your backups at any time through the VirtFusion control panel. The backup section shows:
- The date of your most recent backup
- When the next backup is scheduled
- A history of previous backups with their expiry dates
Restoring a backup
You can restore from any of your available backups through the VirtFusion control panel. Select the backup you want to restore from and confirm the operation.
Restores replace the entire server disk. You cannot restore individual files. Your server will be returned to the exact state it was in when that backup was taken, and any changes made after that point will be lost.
