Availability and pricing

Backups are available in London and Amsterdam, with more locations planned. The cost is 20% of your VPS base price per month.

Scheduling

Configure backups on one of four schedules:
  • Daily
  • Bi-weekly
  • Weekly
  • Monthly
On-demand backups are also available.

Retention

The system keeps 3 backup versions. When a new backup is created, the oldest is automatically removed.

Restoring from a backup

Restores replace the entire server filesystem. You cannot restore individual files — it’s all or nothing.
Backups are filesystem snapshots. If your server is running during the backup, restoring is similar to recovering from an unexpected shutdown. Databases should be handled separately — for MySQL, schedule a mysqldump cron job to run before the backup window.
SpeedyPage does not guarantee that every backup will be complete or available for restoration. Always maintain your own independent backups alongside this service.
